The general recommendation for long term storage (more than 3-4 months) is
to store dry seed at low temperature (35-40 F) at about 20% relative
humidity. I liked the corn meal idea that someone posted, but only if
moisture is excluded from the container during long term storage. I'd be
afraid that the corn meal would absorb too much moisture from the atmosphere
for long term storage, and that the seed would rehydrate or mold would
develop.
