'Thomas Cook' in Australia make a waterproof pair of jeans - denim outer, waterproof membrane, polar fleece inner. They're excellent for cold/wet conditions.

Especially those of you who ride in rough terrain, and in serious winter, what type of pant does your unit wear? Most BDUs are too baggy to be comfortable riding for long distances or in rough brush. English style riding tights rip too easy and don't insulate enough in winter by themselves. Jeans don't make the cut for non-cotton clothing although they are comfy for riding and wear well in brush. Figured I'd get the community response and see how others have solved this problem.
