You are right about Kentucky- at least last year and I haven't seen anything different.  When I asked the head man in the state why?, his response was that it was an unproven system.  'Course Paul and I have only been growing year round using high tunnels for 16 years...in his state...have spoken about it in numerous conferences, have written a book....unproven...  I offered for us to come and speak with him and his staff about the advantages high tunnels give a produce farmer and he never took me up on it.  I would guess NRCS in Kentucky has projects it wants to spend its money on that have a higher profile with more influential people.  Or maybe they just aren't interested in projects for vegetable growers. I told him he should be ashamed of himself, but I guess he isn't.

Meanwhile my fellow farmers in KY are not getting ANY of the money for hoop houses...or so I have been told.
