We sell it for same price as tomatoes ($3.00/lbs). Although it would also a good item to sell by the piece.
The New York Times has eggplant cooking suggestions in today's dining section.

Hi

We are growing oriental eggplant this year (the longish skinny ones) and just starting to pick a few.  Any ideas on pricing?  We are not in an up-scale, urban area.

As a second thought/question, if we cannot get them to sell at our roadside market, what might restaurant pricing be?

Thanks for any ideas.
