Sorry but the Coop in Eau Claire, WI is not successful. They are still
trying to get things organized and have ideas but live off of grants. But I
run a coop which is mostly successful as far as sales go, but the membership
is of no help at all.

Just attended a session on growers cooperatives yesterday. I learned
that coops are notoriously difficult to establish and manage if
certain guidelines aren't followed. And, as someone mentioned, the
quality of those involved, in particular the leadership.

There is a very successful example in Eau Claire Wisconsin.
