Allowing Square access is no different that any other institution access for automatic withdrawals or deposits, such as a power company, bank, or employer. The same exact information is supplied: an account and routing number. Your bank tracks it like any other interaction so there is full transparency. If you do ANY other type of digital banking/purchasing/deduction/payment then this is no different. I also keep my personal accounts separate from my business accounts...which everyone should be doing in the first place. There is zero charge at our bank for a basic business account even with full digital access which is great when using Quicken or Quickbooks.
