If the shade wont be too much of a factor, just use a poly-tarp at half the price of gh plastic,
 
Just center the sheet, pull the top corners between the frame and the corners, snug it up
 
and balast the bottom.
 
One step further would be to make a germination area ( a la Leslie) which you can run
 
several degrees warmer.
 
When temps in the cold end become frost free, use it for onions and cabbage family
 
while heat lovers stay near the heater.
 
If you are using a fan in the end to prevent overheating, make provision to get
 
the divider sheet out of the way before it comes on, otherwise all kinds of interesting
 
stuff happens.
