Bill,

I agree that drip is very efficient and I use drip on all crops which will be in the ground for a full season, but for my strawberries which need water for frost protection (crossing my fingers and thinking good thoughts only gets me so far) and for shorter season crops like greens and broccoliv overhead could be helpful.
