I lost my squash crop 4 years in a row from bacterial wilt from cuke beetles. Then I applied Imidacloprid diluted in water two ounces at the base of each plant. Once absorbed it systemically controls beetles and no wilt, no squash bugs or vine borers either. Bees feed in mornings and don't come out in mid day heat so I limit spraying in the afternoons and evenings. I use overhead irrigation and depend alot on the deep root system to keep the crop growing. I have one of the best crops ever so far this year... Bob.

If you don't provide honeybees, you may be cheating yourself out of crop
