Once you have a blight, it is hard to get rid of it without poisoning everything else. The Horsetail, so high in silica, and prepared in the right way, prevents fungal activity, as it nourishes the plant which is susceptible to imbalances in having the "watery realm" in the right place at the right time, or the wrong place at the wrong time.
