I guess I weren't brave enough... having dealt with severe rashes
a few times, the ones that required a trip to the medical clinic for
a shot of cortisone.

Just walking through it doesn't seem to get me much.

It's when I'm cutting and removing vines in a landscape
when I get it real bad.... all those oils.

I have this notion that if you cut a thick poison ivy trunk at
ground level in the dormancy of winter, that it won't sprout
back. Don't know if this is horticulturally true, but I've seen
it work a few times.

Have you tried it Steve? I've heard the same remedy before but never was
brave enough to try it. I think I'll try cold water first.
