Arden Andersen in The Anatomy of Life & Energy
in Agriculture
says CPB that there is a lack of Calcium,
Phosphorus, Vit. C, Copper and
Manganese
Spotted cucumber beetles--it is a lack of Calcium,
Phosphorus, Iron and
copper
Stripped cucumber beetles Calcium, Phosphorus, Vit
C and Cobalt
Get a soil test and read Michael Astera's
website www.soilminerals.com
I found that when the P, Mg, K were about 250#/A on
a Modified Morgan test
that CPB weren't too much of a problem. I
also plant further apart-a la Steve
Solomon--to give the roots the space they
need. Cucumber beetles here
have disappeared after the soil warmed up and the
ERGS higher.
