Apologies to those of you who see this as off topic.  We often on the list discuss agricultural decision making and have to wrestle with how simple or complex the issues are and how much needs to be taken into account for making good decisions.  To me, the accompanying text is a further glimpse into the complexities of "the system" and a caution against too simplistic views/solutions.
