The Farm Tek catalog we have expired Feb 9 2010  LOL  We purchased our about 4 years ago and still working, have to scotch tape the bottom after I dropped it and broke the gismo that holds it together...the fluid is silver but have no idea if it is mercury. We use a magnetic to adjusted it each day! Have several other thermometers around the greenhouse, they all read the same temps.

Page 326, maybe? or we might just have different catalogues.

Does it work well? The first generation of these things that had the non-mercury indicator liquid didn't work at all; but maybe they've improved (and I don't remember whether I tried Farmtek.)

I have a couple of old mercury ones that still, basically, work fine; but over the years a bit of the mercury has gotten out of place and won't go back where it belongs (yes, I've tried shaking them down) so the sides no longer read quite the same and I'm not sure which is correct.
