Will Allen is doing great, important work. Phil mentioned the 1.3M
budget. I certainly don't have facts or details but it is important
for people on this list to know that Growing Power relies extensively
on grant money. I'm not saying that this is bad or wrong but just
felt that people should know that it is not a stand-alone 'for-profit'
operation. Hopefully the ground-breaking work that he's doing can
find traction within smaller, independent business models. Will does
lots of workshops training people on his system; does anyone know if
there are examples of businesses that are relying on his worm compost
and aquaculture system?
