Yes, MUCH higher. I tend to buy seeds for storage-type onions. They make good onions that last a good, long time and get sweeter in storage.

Several yrs I tried sets and always had a big problem with them bolting. I also found they didn't keep as well. Plus, I can't get the sets organic whereas I can find organic seeds.
