Isn't Lincoln advertised as a narrow leek that is good for selling as "baby" in bunches? You probably will not ever get those to develop any girth. As for the King Richard's, it's rather late in the season but keeping them well irrigated and perhaps some liquid fish fertilizer might help.

HI All.
My leeks are not putting on any girth this year. Any thoughts on encouraging them to get fat? I'm growing them the way I've done it for years, though, of course, the weather in NY has been a bit insane this year.Varieties are King Richard and Lincoln.
Thanks for your help!
