You may also want to check out LeeValley's metal version: I have not used this version, but my experience with Lee Valley has been overwhelmingly positive and I have bought a lot of wonderful tools from them. The only problems I had (a particular line of stainless steel tools which had handles break off from head after a few years use) were handled so well by their customer service department (immediately sent free replacements -- also postage free -- all the way to Dominica) that I am a committed customer and will buy from them (or Johnny's) whenever I can.
