Hattie,
We're getting the same sort of weather pattern here in Oklahoma as well. We
started picking asparagus in March, which is early for us, and then winter
came back. Asparagus shut down, and here we are nearly mid April, and just
now starting to pick a little bit again. Cole crops look pretty much the same
now as they did when we transplanted 6 weeks ago.
We'll have one day of near 80, then back in the 40's. Had potatoes just
barely coming up and then a hard freeze. It's time to transplant tomatoes and
peppers, but I think I'm going to wait another week or so.
Today, it's raining and 50.
Carla Maness
Perkins, OK.
