When I go to the feed store, they use terms like bearded wheat and side oats. Do you know what that means?

Same thing. Oats for horse feed and oats for humans. The oats for humans
are just cleaned of foreign matter better. Not that some seed you may buy
may be treated (but that could be in either case).

I'd like to plant a little patch of oats and another of wheat. I want to sell it at the farmers'
market as a natural unprocessed food. Not sure anyone will buy it, but
thought
I'd try a little and see what happens. Question is, what do I ask for when I want seeds for human consumption instead of livestock? I plant wheat and oats all the time, but I don't
think they're meant for people food.
