The only time
you’ll see a “cross” in this year’s production is when
you are eating the “seed” as in corn. And, I’ve heard, although
not experienced, that since a lot of the “heat” of a hot pepper is
in the seed membranes, you can sometimes get some “heat” in a sweet
pepper if it is crossed with hot. Doesn’t change the fruit, only, again,
the seed. Has anyone actually experienced this? Or is it just a “market
farming legend”? Ours are always side by side and we haven’t seen
it. We have seen bi-colored sweet corn, however, when white and yellow are
planted close and tassel at the same time. Alison

[mailto:market-farming-bounces AT lists.ibiblio.org] On Behalf Of pech Hi Ya'll I've used Fedco for last 6 years with no problems. shipping is great
and customer service excellent. I did have a little trouble last season with
some snap peas and some pumpkin (which I see they 're aware of and
willing to make right), I thought I'd shop around. After comparing my list
with Johnny's and High Mowing both of which I use, I going back to Fedco for my
main order, the prices seem better, it's easier on me to get most of my stuff
from one source and the pumpkin trouble could have been my fault. Which leads
me to a question. Can a spaghetti squash and a Any thoughts? Thanks have Fun Dave z6 Field51produce.com From: Sharon
