We eat lambsquarter two ways. First, raw, right out of the fields. Second,
cook spaghetti or any kind of pasta, drain the noodles, place the
lambsquarter on top of the steaming noodles, after a minute or so, add some
olive oil and mix it all together. Delicious!!! (I also like to sneak
asparagus tips into the dish).

It's a natural substance produced by the plant, like a waxy layer on many
leaves. Do you cook with it or use it fresh? I know native Americans used
lambsquarter in the Mississippi River valley.

What is the powdery stuff on the tiny new leaves of lambsquarter? Is it
good for you or should it be washed off? Lambsquarter is mighty tasty.
Yum!
