Here in NW Georgia the official 4" soil temp is 67.1 degrees & at 8" it
is 64.6. The 10 day forecast has lows in the 50s and highs in the mid
70's to 80s, with a slim chance of rain. I think it is going to be a
hot one...

In southern NJ the official soil temp at 6" depth is 50 degrees. I have
been between 48-70 degrees at the two inch depth for the last three
weeks. My early corn seeded March 29th is one inch tall without row
covers. Second seeding April 11 has already begun to germinate... Bob.

I'd like to know what sort of soil temps you PA and mid-Atlantic
