Thanks for all the advice on goats. Having had them
before I'd never consider keeping them
tethered...these are farm livestock, not pets so
tethering this many would be ridiculous anyway. I've
checked at the auctions around here, prices are really
good for meat goats and have been for over 2 years.
We've also got a couple of other interested markets.

I was able to keep my former goats in a 4 strand
electric fence. These goats I want to move around to
target their grazing. Anyone here keep them in
electric netting such as the poultry fencing Premier
makes?? We've already got several rolls of it and it's
very easy to relocate even on a daily basis.

Oh, and there was a piece on the food network last
night comparing tastes of regularly grown chicken,
non-medicated chicken, organic chicken and free range
chicken. The non-medicated and organic chicken won
hands down for taste, tenderness and juiciness. Which
most of us already know ; ))
