Alison,
At this time, we are not a membership market. We charge a straight 5%
fee.
The committee the juries the artisans is the same committee that runs
the
market. We have only turned down one person because of poor quality and
we
told them that we had no space available (she was a sweet old lady with
hideous things!). We have no had any complaints about the amount of time
that they get at the market. There are very few outlets for crafters
here
and most of those outlets are very expensive. We also require that
artisans
come from our county. This helps to limit the number of requests that we
get.
