Regards to the List:

Mark, I was going to say the same thing. Pick the okra when it's about an
inch and a half long or smaller and just eat it raw. It's wonderful! I
didn't know that until one of my customers opened her box of okra and popped
one in her mouth, then offered me one! We like it fried also. This recipe
came from my friend's aunt who lives in southern Mississippi:

Small whole okra
Flour
Salt & pepper
Heat butter and olive oil (or whatever you use) in a non-stick skillet.
Throw in okras and stir to coat with oil. Sprinkle flour over top, season
and stir to coat. Cook until okras are crisp on the outside, turning
frequently. We could almost fight over this!

The okra flowers alone are worth growing it. - they're beautiful.

Ok, I have to put this out for okra haters. Okra tastes WONDERFUL raw.
