Title: metal pipe high tunnels
Paul,
We are out on the flat and treeless plains of SE Wyoming. Our high tunnel is definately the highest thing around and has been through many severe lightning storms without a strike. Not sure why but all seems to be fine!

Hi all,

I am currently setting up a nice big high tunnel.  I positioned this thing on top of a knoll that I leveled out.  From the degree of my sunburn yesterday, I know that it will get good sun exposure on top of this knoll.  But now I am wondering if this thing will be a nice lightning target.  Has anyone ever seen evidence of a lightning strike to a pipe frame greenhouse?
