Here's another idea for berry packaging... This will be our first year with
strawberries (also in NM!) Have you ever seen those clear slurpee type
drink cups and the lids?? They're inexpensive and the lid has an opening
like a volcano?? There are different sizes from 10 oz up to 24 oz. Well ,
if you put the berries in there you have the added benefit of easy eating
as well as viewing the product and transportability. You can even get those
cardboard drink carriers. I think that will be the way to go for us. Fill
them without the lid and then put the lid on and sell! I love the origami
idea, but between the time and the transportability I think clear plastic
cups are the way to go for us. And they'll even fit in car drink holders
for quick snacks!! The price is about $8 for 100 cups.
