I am hoping that some one on this list can help
me out. I would like to become a certified organic flower grower. My problems
are
1. buying the seed I want in non-pelleted form
and
2. finding a plug grower who will grow
lisianthus plugs organically for me.
Lisianthus and campanula champion seed seems only
to come pelleted. I have talked to the seed companies and campanula champion and
lisianthus seed coating is definitely not organic ( the exact ingredients are
proprietary).
Harris Seed will take a lot (each seed is part of
a 'batch' called a 'lot') and pellet it for 450.00. A lot could be up to 750,000
seeds. I sure don't need that much seed nor could I afford it.
Any ideas?
