We use the spikes that came with ours if we are on grass to hold the
EZ-Up down and have also used cinder blocks and our vehicle at the
markets where we can tailgate (tie the EZ-UP to the vehicle with bungee
cords). I have also seen people fill 5 gallon buckets with sand and
bungee the EZ to those.
If winds get above 25 to 30 mph it is best to take the things down. I
was at a 4th of July party and watched an EZ up blow apart in 60 mph
winds despite 5 big men trying to hold it..
Growing for market had an article on how to keep them from moving in
winds about a year ago, the info may be on the website
http://www.growingformarket.com.
