Ok Ok already.. with all this talk of rain, and only an hour after I posted
that last message stating that I'm cutting hay tomorrow and have low chance
of rain for the week... a huge black cloud formed and dumped a 45 minute
squall of water on us. Then it turned blue, and then another big black
bruiser formed and dumped more on us. Hopefully its done for the week, but
I see more darkness to the West.

It hasn't rained here in a month and a half!!! And now... the day before my
scheduled cutting... it dumps hard. I guess just so long as it doesn't do
the same tomorrow. Wish me luck! Looks like I'm going to need it.

Mike

It's going to have to get to be a good year PDQ for us.
We're racing the clock now: first frost date here is the
first week in October.

If the summer things can't be planted soon (eggplants, pole
beans, cukes, etc.), there won't be any time for them to
mature.

theoretically Zone 5, but with a microclimate much more like
Zone 4)
