LOL thanks for defending me Liz. Thats exactly what I meant. Those who
split, not shareholders in general. I love most of my members. But the
sharers (those who split one share), some not all, I get the feeling they
are looking for just that bit of extra for nothing so to speak. When the
harvest really comes in there can be quite a bit and sharing looks like a
good idea. But in the lean times always usual in the early season (although
not usually this lean) I get the feeling (could be me reading into it but
it so stresses me) that the split/sharers are thinking whoa whoa we got 1/2
a head of lettuce :). I have asked that sharers alternate weeks and whether
they keep the whole thing or go to the others person's house and split it I
don't care. I had one unit "refuse" to pay to token extra $10 each and are
sharing but have agreed that they won't take the two newsletters or split
units of syrup (which requires two bottles). I thought yikes they are
looking for that much of a deal. I haven't decided what my "first"
impression is of them :).
My long time folks 5 years some of them are like buddies and it was such a
pleasure to see them this weekend. Beth sp We already gave out syrup that
is a regular part of membership we make it ourselves. Not sure I have the
inventory to go around the membership again.
*******
I think Beth meant "damn the sharers" as in damn those who split a share
with another person, not shareholders in general....
