Renee, Hi neighbor LOL I think other than the garlic greens thats what I'll
give out next week :). I have rhubarb, and the same pac choi. I am already
planning on making lettuce mix out of the volunteer seeded lettuce its very
crowded just like regular mix :). I have some under ripe arugula I'll toss
in a few leaves.
I do have a few herbs.
I think I might make a rhubarb quick bread found a recipe on
www.recipesource.com

Question my rhubarb plants are looking a bit battle weary, very harvested
out. How much of the plant can you take and have it grow back next year?
Thank-you, Beth
*******

My CSA here in southeast New Hampshire just had their first pickup of the
season. It wasn't pretty but it's a start. They each got some rhubarb, a
head
of lettuce, one baby pac choi (mei qing choi) and a bunch of garlic greens.
Remember, you do the best you can but they agreed to SHARE the risk with
you,
the farmer. That's what CSA is all about. For those who don't understand
that, I'm sure there will be 20 people knocking down your door to replace
them if
they drop out due to disappointment. I explain it to my shareholders in a
language they can understand "CSA is like the stock market" ;-) In the
meantime,
