I agree that it is a phosphorus deficiency and that the plants will
likely "grow out of it". I believe the primary cause is likely to be
growing the transplants at too low temperature.

I've been away from the list for most of a week. Just
before that someone (sorry, forgotten who), asked me
what an intentional community is. Well, it's a group of
people who have chosen to live together with a
common purpose, in a way that reflects their shared
values. It's an inclusive term for ecovillages,
communes, cohousing, land trusts, student co-ops,
urban housing co-ops and similar projects. Twin Oaks,
where I live, is an ecovillage and a commune. We
have a website <www.twinoaks.org>.

Basically yes. I scatter mustard and mustard relatives like arugula
through the greens plantings and once they are all in leaf the mustards
are totally full of holes from the beetles but the other greens are
perfect.
