Alex,

Missouri does provide a discounted rate (2%) for local raised food. Our
local tax comes to 2.225% which is mostly a county tax.

Tennessee has sales tax on food (8.75% where I live). And we're thinking of
changing the state name to "Regression (RG)."

But most states exempt any farm product sold by the producer to the consumer
from sales tax.
