Earthway is a very good seeder if you only want to plant a small garden, they
are light weight and easy to push on soft soil. Planet Jr. sells for under
$500 and is much stronger than earthway and will last forever, I had a
neighbor who used them to seed 3000 acres of lettuce. They were the number
one commercial farm vegetable seeder for many years and have a proven track
record. Today few if any farms are still using them, they have been replaced
with precision seeders that require little or no thinning, the money and time
saved by not thinning more than pays the cost of the newer seeders. A good
precision push type seeder is Nibex 500, they sell for about $1800 each...Bob.
