I have heard that the company that makes Coles is out of business.
Powell? I use two Planet Jrs on a tool bar and have been moderately
satisfied, though they don't plant through trash well. I bought a pair
of replacements a couple of years ago and it seems like they cost me
about $700. EACH! The first rig I bought about 10 or 15 years ago
cost about $700 for the whole setup, including tool bar.

I saw a pair of bigger nicer Cole planters the other day. "Multi-flex"
or something like that. They had sloping slotted plates around the
shoes that looked like they might handle trash better.
