Regards to the list:
If one finds tobacco allotments to lease, what do they entitle the
grower to? Does an allotment amount to an acre, a ton, a certain
cultivar? Does this allow a grower to sell at a certain place? Does it
allow the grower to receive a certain price?
If one does NOT find allotments to lease, can one still sell tobacco
someplace but not receive as much money as a grower with allotments? Is
the grower barred from certain auctions?
Do tobacco growers usually grow their own transplants? Can they send
off for plants or plugs? Where does one purchase seeds? What if you
want to manufacture your own insecticide with the tobacco? Is it
regulated for this use?
Do the rules about growing/selling/using tobacco vary from state to
state or are most of the rules federal?
