Folks,
Most of the time that I have seen Blossom-End Root has
been during droughty conditions and yes, it is with the UPTAKE of Calcium.
Therefore, a soil test could show sufficient Calcium and still develop
BER. Thus, my recommendation is to WATER - WATER - WATER - WATER.
Having a soil test run this Fall would also be advisable to see where Calcium
and other nutrient levels are.
