Jacqueline - do you think the paperboard was absorbing the moisture from
your berries? I have tons of wild blackberries and was going to pick right
into the pint paperboard boxes this year. Last year I picked into buckets
and made the mistake of washing them - wrong! Someone on the list mentioned
picking right into the container but maybe I should get the plastic berry
boxes instead. Any ideas out there? There nothing more worthless than
gooey berries - unless its totally wilted chinese cabbage, not a pretty
site.
