Hello,
Great thread on 101 uses for an old shower curtain, I couldn't have asked for a better way to introduce our latest tip sheet, "Build a Hands-Free Washer"
(see http://www.bse.wisc.edu/hfhp/)
This washer allows smaller scale growers to use both hands to process and wash vegetables by hand without having to hold onto a sprayer nozzle. This saves time, and wear and tear on your body.
What about the shower curtain? Well, you could cut it into a couple of aprons to wear while you are using your new hands free washer.
Best regards,
bob
