The Washington State Farmers Market site also has great info on securing
canopies. Zach Lyons, director, instituted an education policy a year or so
back and has done a great job helping farmers in Washington State understand
the liability issues of parachuting canopies. I just tried to access it,
but it seems to be down. It is www.wafarmersmarket.com. Perhaps
later......

As far as signage, I determined stenciling would eventually wear and had a
vinyl sign made for the farm's canopy. I use velcro to secure it. It's
very easy to put up and take down, looks great and is very visible to
customers. I color co-ordinated it with my table coverings and it visibly
puts the display together.

As far as wind and rain: I have the heavy duty EZ up. It is rain resistant
and has kept us all dry under heavy northwest rains. I do dry it before
storage between markets if I have a dry day.
