What a week - isn't just growing exciting enough without nature's extremes

Joan I can really relate to the wind and the bad storms the last couple of
days. I have a couple of neighbors that lost a lot of building with the
wind. In the middle of the night on tuesday was our worst wind. Tuesday
morning we went out and put around 1000 transplants in the ground only to
have it start to hail around noon and guess what , after about 3" of the
stuff on the ground there isn't much left. I' really lucky that I didn't
loss any of our greenhouse roofs being just plastic bubbles. A neighbor of
ours has about 2 acres of glass, polycarbonate covered, he lost all of his
roofs.
