I've used 10% vinegar (pickling vinegar) to kill weeds. Works
especially well on hot sunny days -- just burns the leaves to a
crisp. Adding a Tbl of citrus oil really increases the efficiency,
and adding a tsp of some pure liquid soap helps the product stick
to the foliage. Hope this works as well for you. Be careful
with it though -- it will harm any plant it is sprayed on.

I was just reading on the ATTRA website that a product with vinegar and
lemon juice in it can be used to kill quack grass. The acid that is in it
is supposed to do the trick, has anybody tried this method? Any other
suggestions? Thanks, Jacqueline
