A good back pack flamer can be purchased at Peaceful Valley Farm
Supply, be sure to invest in the non-freezing attachment they also
sell. With that attachment our freeze up's are minimal and the flamer
works great!!!!!!!! I'm sure they have a web site.

Cellophane bags are available thru PAK-CELL along with twist ties.
These bags are nice because they are a bit porous, so condensation is
rarly takes place. The 6 x 6 x15 holds about 1# of fluffy salad
greens. They can be a bit pricey for some, about $24 for 125 bags
and ties (includes shipping). I perfer zip gallon size for a nice 8oz
package which are customers say last for a good 2 weeks if they can
stay away from it. The key here is to be sure you spin your lettuces
very well and do not zip the bag all the way until its in the ref. to
stay. These I purchase at the dollar store each week, 50 for $2.00.

Happy growing, more snow for us
:-(
