We harvested chard (mostly Bright Lights and an open pollinated Golden
Chard) for about 5 months this year without affecting the quality.
Harvested once a week by removing the largest outer leaves. It was
delicious from start to finish, and the plants seem unbelievably sturdy.
Haven't tried cutting it down to the crown.
