Dori, be careful. You risk losing customers if you allow the big
boys, then suddenly decide not to. This is how the produce resellers
in our market got started--stupid market manager decided we needed a
large displayer--so she allowed these people who drive from the coast
of North Carolina to Atlanta Ga, to buy wholesale produce--20 hour
round trip several times a week. They now have the bulk of the
business and are so entrenched they will never leave and can't be
forced out.
Really market that "local, small grower" market--it is your hook--and
I know you know this--you maven of marketing!!!! ; ))))
