Dearest list,

After sending out several personal reminders in the last two days, I
thought it necessary to post a reminder to the list.

Please, please for the sake of your fellow listees, use snips to cut the
message you respond to. Quote back only those lines needed for
clarification or direct response.

Those of us in rural areas may not have a local dial-up number to an
unlimited use ISP. Those who don't pay message units AND useage units to
download their mail. The more uncut quotes, the higher the cost. Also,
mailbox space on ISP servers varies. If someone is subscribed to several
mailing lists, it's possible for their mailbox to fill up and some messages
to bounce back. Finally, if you signed up for digest, you probably get
sick of reading the same post, quoted in its entirety. And there's
probably more than one.

OK, that's my list ogre, er owner, message for the day. ;-)

Please reply privately with whines and complaints.
