Since last Sunday I've been trying to make it work with subdomains
and I wasn't succesful till today.
I had the exact same problem as Doug describes below and I couldn't
figure why my instalation wasn't working. Then I did what Jameson
said and still it was not working.

Today I went to my domain provider (the company I bought my domain
from) and there I set a wildcard:

*.blogs.example.com. IN A 123.456.789.123

Ta-da! Now lyceum with subdomains is working for me.

I'm just sending this out 'cause I know might be people out there
doing the same thing I was doing: seting the wildcard in my server
(host company) and not in the domain provider.

I hope this can help somebody that come accross the same problem.

My first guess would be that you have blog subdomains enabled in
lyceum but do not have a wildcard DNS entry on your server thus it
doesn't know how to handle the requests. My second guess would be
that it is a mod_rewrite problem. If my first guess is wrong can you
send a link to the site where you have installed lyceum?

create a blog as different users, but the only place I can get to is
the profile screen. I cannot get to the dashboard. Each user can
update their profile, but when they click on their name at the top by
"my account" then a page cannot be displayed pops up. Entries are
being made in the database and folders being created under blogs, but
no way to access the blog. Can anyone help?
