Weston Price used to keep a good listing, It is still at least a start point http://www.realmilk.com/where5.htm but you can also check Craigs and the listserves.

This is a listing of Raw Milk providers.  Even is states where it is illegal to quasi all the way to States that allow retail sales.  Some states allow cowshare, but then you need to know what you are looking at when you go to inspect for yourself.

American Grassfed sometimes lists milk people; http://www.americangrassfed.org/

You might experiment with un-homogenized milk, but it is hard to find....  and all the baby formulas and  commercial processed brands have been remixed with processed fats.  The marketing of baby formula (free in the maternity wards) leads to many long-term allergies created in the new-born and especially premmies.

As Paul wrote, skim milk is a good choice if you need cheap protein, and have given up finding goat milk
